What plant owners ask.

Do you touch the machines or the controls?
No. We work in the office layer — the systems, the paperwork and the coordination around production. Anything on the machine side stays with your controls people and your integrator.
Our ERP is old and does not have an API. Now what?
Common in this industry, and not a blocker. Where a system has no interface, we automate it the way a person uses it, through the screen. Slower to build than an API, and it works.
We run a lot of custom and one-off work. Does this still apply?
The parts differ; the process around them usually does not. Quoting, releasing, purchasing, chasing, shipping and invoicing follow the same shape whether the job is a repeat or a one-off. If the process genuinely changes every time, we will tell you so in week one.
Will the floor have to learn a new system?
The opposite. The floor keeps whatever it uses today. What changes is that the office stops asking them for updates, because the system already has them.
